Zack Herlick

Zack Herlick currently serves as an Advisor at Corient since August 2023. Prior to this role, Zack co-founded and acted as an Advisor at Portola Partners from January 2020 to August 2023. Zack's previous experience includes a long tenure at BRF (Brownson, Rehmus & Foxworth, Inc.), focusing on wealth management for affluent families from October 2006 to January 2020, as well as a brief stint at UBS in the same field in 2006. Zack was also the General Manager at CSIRO from January 2003 to December 2005 and a General Partner at Maveron LLC from 1998 to 2003. Early career highlights include co-founding Red Herring and serving as its Technology Finance Editor from 1992 to 1995. Zack holds a BA, JD, and MBA from Stanford University, as well as additional education from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and Stanford Law School, along with graduating from Phillips Academy Andover.
