Wayne Markowitz

Wayne brings more than 20 years of global experience in the medical device industry to his role as Head of Corindus, including 15+ years in cardiovascular and expertise in neurovascular, plastic surgery, and surgical vision. He joins Corindus after six years at Johnson & Johnson where he most recently served as Vice President of Surgical Vision and was responsible for the U.S. commercial organization, building a high-performance culture, and enhancing employee and customer engagement post acquisition. Preceding this, he was J&J’s Vice President of the Cardiovascular and Specialty Solutions (CSS) group of four businesses in Germany and Vice President and General Manager of Biosense Webster in Japan, accelerating growth through cultural transformation, organizational optimization, and the development of high potential talent. Prior to J&J, Wayne spent several years in sales, marketing, and strategy leadership roles for Guidant and Boston Scientific Corporation in the U.S. and Japan. Wayne holds an undergraduate degree and a Master’s in Business Administration from Duke University.
