Colby Burtt

Colby Burtt is a Senior Process Development Engineer at Cormetech, with a career that began in April 2015, where various roles include Process Development Engineer and Development Lab Engineer. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Assistant in the Solar Thermochemical Hydrogen Production Laboratory at the University of Florida from November 2012 to May 2014, focusing on reactor simulation for water splitting processes and developing energy-efficient metal catalysts. Additionally, Colby contributed to leadership development as part of the Florida Opportunity Scholars Academy of Leadership in 2013 and served as a mentor with Florida Opportunity Scholars from 2011 to 2012, aiding freshmen in transitioning to college. Colby earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Florida in 2014.
