Tom Kais

Tom Kais has worked in the financial sector since 1994. Tom began their career as a Financial Analyst at KAO Infosystems. Tom then moved on to Philips Components as a BG Regional Sales Controller in 1998. In 2000, they became the Director of Finance / Corporate Controller at Vertical Networks, Inc. Tom then held the same role at Santel Networks, Inc. in 2001 and NextG Networks in 2003. In 2005, they became the CFO of Quantum 3D and the CFO of Ruckus Wireless in 2007. From 2010 to 2017, they were the CFO of Soft Machines. Since 2017, they have been running their own CFO Consulting Practice, working with BanyanSecurity, Cornami, RADX Technologies, and several others. As a financial advisor, they have helped these companies to scale and manage growth, translating the CEO's strategic vision into executable financial and operating plans, and helping to select and implement ERP systems and define reporting requirements.

Tom Kais attended Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business from 1988 to 1990, where they earned an MBA. Tom then attended Santa Clara University from 1981 to 1985, where they earned a BS in Finance & Accounting.
