Melissa Chipman

Melissa Chipman has had a varied career since 2005. Melissa began as a Freelance Editorial for Chipman Editorial Services, and then in 2006 became a Junior Grade Dean and Teacher at Louisville Collegiate School. In 2012, they were the Engagement Editor & Staff Writer at Insider Louisville, as well as a Twitter Curator for 502 East Brands and a member of the Louisville Organizing team for Startup Weekend. From 2019 to 2021, they were Communications for Let's Start Coding, Adjunct Faculty at Ivy Tech Community College, and Operations Manager and Engagement Editor/Customer Advocate for Cornbread Hemp™.

Melissa Chipman attended The Williams School from 1986 to 1991, graduating with a diploma, cum laude. Melissa then attended Columbia University from 1991 to 1995, where they earned a BA in English. Melissa then attended the University of New Orleans from 1998 to 2000, where they earned a MA in English. Additionally, they attended the University of New Orleans from 1998 to 1999, where they earned a Master's in English-- Old/Middle English Lit & Creative Non-Fiction.
