Simon Haines is an accomplished educator with extensive experience in mathematics and software engineering. Currently serving as the Director of Curriculum at Corndel, Simon is responsible for designing and developing an innovative Software Engineering curriculum that emphasizes learner engagement and independence. Previously, Simon held the position of Technical Lead at Multiverse, where the focus was on delivering high-quality education and supporting apprentices in their software engineering qualifications. As the Head of Mathematics at The National Mathematics and Science College, Simon led a department dedicated to preparing students for success in mathematics competitions and examinations. Simon began teaching mathematics at Joseph Chamberlain Sixth Form College and contributed to research on stochastic differential equations as a Research Intern at the University of Edinburgh. Simon holds a PGCE in Mathematics Education from the University of Oxford and a Master of Arts in Mathematics from the University of Edinburgh.
