Electrical Test Engineer at Cornelis Networks

Rob Bara began their career in 2015 as a Bus Help at Camelback Resort. In 2020, they began working as an AT&T Externship, learning about 5G/Wireless Technology, Machine Learning, AI, Phone/Ethernet/Cable Wiring and Routing, and developing Leadership, Networking, Retail, and Marketing Skills. Later that year, they took on a role as a Hardware Integration Research Assistant at Temple University College of Engineering, where they designed Hardware and Mechanical aspects for autonomous vehicles such as an ASV, UUV, and UAVs with capabilities such as Lidar, Sonar, and Corrosion/Biofouling detection for the U.S. Navy. In 2021, they became a Hardware Engineering/Technician Intern at Ant Farm Music and Amplification, where they troubleshot, modded, and repaired vintage and modern tube amplifiers such as Ampeg, Fender, Vox, Mesa Boogie, EVH, Peavey, and repaired analog and digital pedals, as well as performed acoustic/electric guitar and bass setups/repairs. In 2023, they took on a role as an Electronics Test Engineer at Cornelis Networks, where they worked with electrical design, software, and mechanical engineering to develop system, module, and board level tests in addition to validation requirements, schedules, and quality targets. Rob also assisted in managing project teams, developing test strategies, designing quality practices and investigation processes which includes identifying, reproducing, and documenting defects, bugs, or problems, and assisted engineering designers in gathering and analyzing data.

Rob Bara obtained their High School Diploma from Pocono Mountain East High School in 2018. Rob then attended Temple University College of Engineering, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 2022. In 2020, they also obtained an AT&T Summer Learning Academy Extern certification from AT&T.
