Cornell DEBUT
Karim Farhat is a Market Analyst at Cornell DEBUT since September 2019, where responsibilities include conducting patent searches and performing market and price-cost analyses for novel medical devices. Previously, Karim served as an EMT-B at Assist Ambulance from November 2020 to September 2021, handling documentation, inventory checks, and safely operating an ambulance for high-risk patients, including those with COVID-19. Karim also gained experience as a Research Assistant at the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics during the summer of 2021, contributing to public health research projects focused on place-based policies under the guidance of Professor Atheendar Venkataramani. Karim holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Cornell University, obtained in 2022, and graduated from the International School of Chouiefat in 2018.

Cornell DEBUT
We are an engineering project team of undergraduate students across 17 majors who come together to develop innovative solutions for current biomedical problems and concerns. After two years of in-depth research and development, our project is submitted to VentureWell’s Design by Biomedical Undergraduate Teams (DEBUT) competition, where it is judged based on innovation, feasibility, marketability, and patentability.
