Jim Bell

Jim Bell has extensive experience in engineering and remote sensing, serving as an Instrument Specialist for Cornell Technical Services, LLC since 2012, focusing on NASA missions. Prior to this role, Jim spent over two decades at Raytheon Santa Barbara Remote Sensing, where contributions included serving as Engineering Fellow and Director of Technology, with key responsibilities for systems architecture and opto-mechanical performance on significant programs like NPOESS and GOES ABI. Jim's earlier career included positions at Vetco Offshore, Santa Barbara Research Center, and the Pacific Missile Range, culminating in a solid foundation in mechanical engineering from California State University, Northridge and California State University, Long Beach.
