Augustus Pendleton

Augustus Pendleton is a Doctoral Student in Microbiology at Cornell University since August 2022, following a role as a Research Assistant in the Brinsmade Laboratory at Georgetown University, where research focused on Staphylococcus infections and genetic regulation of pathogenesis. Previous experience includes a Department of Energy Scholar fellowship at the Bioenergy Technologies Office, contributing to bioenergy goals, and various teaching assistantships at the University of Minnesota, covering subjects such as histology, biology concepts, and biochemistry labs. Augustus also has experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota Biotechnology Institute, a Research Intern at the Northwest Fisheries Science Center, and a Histology Intern at the University of Maine's Darling Marine Center.
