Devon Carter has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. In 2015, they worked as an Advocate for the CLEAN WATER FUND, where they canvassed the Washington D.C. Metro Area and advocated for support for the Clean Water Rule. In the same year, they also worked as a Campaign Assistant for Friends of Charlie King. In 2018, Devon worked as a Field Representative for the Progressive Turnout Project. In 2019, they took on the role of Lead Research Associate at Phone2Action, Inc. Then, in 2021, Devon became a Human Resources Specialist at GardaWorld Federal Services before transitioning to their current role as a Technical Recruiter at Cornerstone Defense.

Devon Carter attended Tuscarora High School from 2010 to 2013, where they earned their High School Diploma. Following this, from 2013 to 2018, Devon pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government at William & Mary.
