Samuel Chan

Samuel Chan has six years of work experience. In 2021, they began working as a Systems Analyst and Junior Systems Analyst for Cornerstone Robotics Limited. In 2020, they were a Technology Associate for MIT Hong Kong Innovation Node. In 2019, they were an Intern for Automation for Humanity (Makers of Sit & Shower). In 2018, they were an Intern for 江苏恩泽生态农业有限公司. In 2017, they were a Teaching Assistant for MIT Hong Kong Innovation Node, where their responsibilities included leading hands-on workshops on IoT, Arduino and Electronics, helping students and teachers with hardware and software problems, and managing the Node's hardware inventory. In 2016, they were a Courseware Designer and Research Assistant for The Chinese University of Hong Kong, where they were involved in the development of a robot arm and android app for teaching introductory concepts in robotics, and in education, cable robots, architectural robots, and prosthesis projects.

Samuel Chan attended Dakar Academy in Senegal from 2008 to 2012, where they earned their High School Diploma. Samuel then enrolled at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, where they graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Mechanical and Automation Engineering in 2016. In 2018, they pursued a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Technology Leadership and Entrepreneurship at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, which they completed in 2020.
