Tyler Dean

Tyler Dean has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Tyler is currently a Partner at Sage Collective. Prior to that, they worked at RSL Investments as a Partner, where they handled venture capital and growth equity investments. Tyler also co-founded CornerUp, a B2B eCommerce-focused fintech-enabled marketplace for independent food retailers. Additionally, Tyler co-founded Aikito, a B2B marketplace and financing platform for commercial real estate. Tyler was also a Co-Founder of Confluence.VC and served as a Board Member & Advisor at The Cicero Institute. Tyler has worked as an Impact Advisor at Bay Bridge Ventures and a Visiting Professor at HBCUvc. Tyler has also served as an Advisor at Behind Genius Ventures and was a Venture Capital Investor at GreatPoint Ventures, where they executed several early and growth-stage investments. In their role at GreatPoint Ventures, Tyler had responsibilities in thesis formation, deal sourcing, due diligence, and investment memorandum formation. Tyler also served on the boards of Activ Surgical, Truvian, StriVR, Plethora, Rapid Deploy, and Recogni.

Tyler Dean's education history includes a Bachelor's Degree in Financial Economics & Data Science from Claremont McKenna College. Tyler also attended Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina 'Santa María de los Buenos Aires', where they focused on International Business and achieved fluency in Spanish. Additionally, they participated in the W.M. Keck Summer Science Immersion Program as a Scholar. Tyler graduated from Homewood Flossmoor Community High School.
