Laura Merchant is a seasoned Sr. Graphic Designer, Art Director, and Photographer with over eight years of experience at Cornett, where they advanced the organization’s creative initiatives while mentoring junior artists. Currently serving as the Creative Director at Merchant Design, Laura directs operations for a freelance design and photography studio, managing client relations and overseeing project completions. Their notable achievements include art directing significant projects for the University of Kentucky and Kentucky HealthCare, as well as leading a successful multimedia awareness campaign that resulted in a four-year sellout of campus housing. Laura earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Graphics and Illustration from Indiana Wesleyan University and is pursuing a Master of Theological Studies at Urshan Graduate School of Theology.
