Joe Holzer is currently the Technology Transfer Director for Solar at Corning Incorporated, a position they have held since 2024. Prior to this, they served as Chief Technology Officer for Ingot and Wafer Technology at Reliance New Solar Energy Limited from 2022 to 2024, and as Vice President of Research and Development at Nexcel Electronic Technology, Inc. from 2020 to 2022. Joe’s extensive experience also includes roles as Vice President of Crystal Research and Development at GCL Solar Materials and Director of Crystal R&D at MEMC Electronic Materials, Inc. They earned a Ph.D. in Physics from Washington University in St. Louis between 1985 and 1990.
