Matthias Hampl

Matthias Hampl is the Trade Compliance EMEA Manager at Corning, a position held since 2012 where they lead an international team responsible for trade compliance across multiple countries in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Prior to this role, Matthias worked at Siemens from 1989 to 1999 as an IT Project Manager, developing and implementing IT solutions for logistics and materials management. Matthias previously served Corning in various roles from 2000 to 2005, including Manager of Logistics and Warehousing, and as a subject matter expert in export control and customs compliance for Corning Cable Systems. Matthias obtained a degree from the University of Applied Sciences Coburg between 1985 and 1989.
