Michael Ballard is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) based in the Charlotte, NC metro area, with over 15 years of experience in public accounting. Their career began in audit, where they oversaw audits for both public and private companies, including multinational entities. Michael has held various prominent roles, including Director at CLA, Assurance Senior Manager at PwC, and currently serves as the Global Controller at Corning Incorporated. Michael holds a Master's degree in Accounting from East Carolina University and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from The University of North Carolina.
