Michael Smith MCJ, CFE, CAMS, CIFI is an experienced security and law enforcement professional with a robust background spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Regional Security Manager at Corning Incorporated since March 2018, Michael oversees talent management, regulatory compliance, and strategic planning for security operations across multiple locations. Previous roles include serving as a Probation Parole Officer with the North Carolina Department of Public Safety and as Branch Manager at Securitas Security Services USA, Inc., where responsibilities included managing personnel and client relationships. Michael's law enforcement career began with the City of Fort Lauderdale, progressing through various ranks including Police Sergeant, where strategic crime reduction initiatives were implemented. Michael holds a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice from Boston University and has earned multiple certifications in fraud examination and anti-money laundering.
