Stephen Barrett is a highly experienced engineer with a specialization in mechanical engineering, holding a BSME from Temple University. Currently serving as a Melting Design Engineer at Corning Incorporated since February 2018, Stephen provides key design solutions for melting equipment within the Corning Display Technologies sector and also manages new capital equipment for the TGV project. Prior to this, Stephen worked at Cornell University as a Mechanical Engineer, supporting the Cornell High Energy Synchrotron Source and Electron Storage Ring. Additional experience includes a role as Lead Design Engineer at CAF, where Stephen led design efforts for Amtrak’s viewliner passenger cars and managed a drafting team, as well as a Mechanical Engineer position at Gamesa, focusing on turbine system modeling and cost reduction initiatives.
