Ryan Hichens

Ryan Hichens is a qualified geologist with extensive experience in environmental and mining consultancy. Currently serving as a Project Geologist at Cornish Tin Limited since February 2022, Ryan previously held the position of Geologist at Groundsure from August 2016 to January 2022, where responsibilities included planning and conducting site investigations for historical mining features. Prior to that, tenure as a Graduate Geologist at Geocore Site Investigations Ltd followed a role as a Laboratory Technician at Wardell Armstrong LLP, where Ryan conducted various tests on rock types. Early experience includes working as a Field Geologist at Treliver Minerals Ltd, focusing on soil geochemistry and exploration, as well as a summer internship with the same company, contributing significantly to soil sample collection during the exploration phase. Ryan Hichens holds a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Geology from the Camborne School of Mines, University of Exeter.
