Executive Principal And Deputy CEO at The Cornwall College Group

Mark Wardle has a wealth of experience in the education sector. Mark started their career as a Course Leader at Park College in 2001 and later became the Head of Division: Academy 6 at Sussex Coast College Hastings in 2008. In 2010, they joined Truro and Penwith College as the Director of Curriculum. Mark then served as the Principal of CALLYWITH COLLEGE TRUST from 2017 to 2019. Mark worked as an Education Management Consultant in 2019 before joining The Cornwall College Group as the Assistant Principal Quality of Education in 2020. Mark later became the Deputy Principal of East Sussex College Group in 2021 and was promoted to Deputy (CEO & Principal) in 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Group Deputy Principal Curriculum and Quality at The Cornwall College Group.

Mark Wardle completed their Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in Law at the University of Reading from 1995 to 1998. Mark later pursued a PGCE Education and Training (FE) degree in Post Compulsory Education and Training at the University of Wales, Newport from 1998 to 1999.
