Misty Basford

Misty Basford has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Misty is currently a member of the Event Committee at CIO Council of South Florida Inc, a position they have held since 2023. Prior to this, Misty worked as a Strategic Consultant at Mist Communications from 2020. In this role, they were experienced in consulting and delivering cloud and network services. Misty also worked as a Strategic Account Executive at Coro, a security solutions company, starting in 2023. Before these positions, they were a Senior Account Executive at Myriad360, a cybersecurity company, from 2019 to 2020. Misty's earlier experiences include working as a Senior Enterprise Account Executive at Granite Telecommunications from 2016 to 2019, where they consistently achieved top sales and was recognized for their performance. Misty also served as the Director of New Business Development at Titan Urban Transportation, a technology company, from 2012 to 2016, where they played a role in launching the company's first cars for Uber. Misty began their career as a Sales and Marketing Coordinator at Overseas Military Sales Group in 2011 and later worked as an Event Marketing Manager at Empire Events from 2009 to 2012. Misty also served as a Brand Ambassador at Team Enterprises/Cone Distributing/Champion Brands/Pure Premise from 2005 to 2011 and as an Account Executive at Telovations from 2008 to 2009.

Misty Basford attended Florida State University from 2002 to 2007, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Creative Writing. Misty completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Creative Writing during this time.
