Muhammad Haffejee is a highly experienced professional in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) with a robust background spanning several leadership roles in prominent companies. Currently serving as a Subject Matter Expert at Corporater since January 2023, Muhammad collaborates with organizations to address regulatory compliance and risk management challenges. Prior experience includes serving as Risk Manager at Vodacom, where responsibilities encompassed enterprise risk management across multiple countries. Muhammad also held the position of Engagement Manager at Ernst & Young, overseeing complex audit engagements for major clients, and worked as a Senior Risk & Control Advisor at KPMG South Africa, managing multiple audits in the financial and insurance sectors. Muhammad holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Internal Auditing and an Honours degree in the same field from the University of Pretoria, along with a Programme in Enterprise & Technology from North-West University.
