Lena Hellström

Lena Hellström is a skilled test engineer with extensive experience in mechanical and durability testing across various industries. Currently employed at CorPower Ocean since September 2024, Lena focuses on integration and testing. Previously, from November 2019 to September 2024, Lena served as a Senior Testing Engineer at Northvolt, leading technical efforts in vibration and durability testing for battery systems. Earlier roles include R&D Engineer at Scania Group, where Lena was involved in electrified transmission development, along with consulting positions and a foundational role at GKN Driveline focusing on strength and durability testing. Lena began their career at Scania CV AB, working on gearbox strength testing and failure analysis. A Master's degree in Energy Engineering with a specialization in Renewable Energy Sources was earned from Umeå University, complementing a strong technical background.
