Ryan O'Donnell

Electrical Engineer at CorPower Ocean

Ryan O'Donnell has been working in the electrical engineering field since 2004. Ryan began their career as a PhD student at The University of Manchester, where they conducted research on HVDC Machines for Off Shore Wind Power Generation. In 2008, they joined WesternGeco as an Engineer, where they were responsible for electronic systems used in seismic & CSEM marine exploration. In 2015, they returned to CorPower Ocean as an Electrical Engineer and remained in this role until 2018. Ryan then moved to Climeon, where they worked as an Electrical System Designer until 2021, when they returned to CorPower Ocean as an Electrical Engineer.

Ryan O'Donnell received their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Manchester in 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Sheffield in 2004.
