Correctional Health Management was established under founding principles of enhancing healthcare services for the justice involved communities and the agencies that are entrusted with caring for incarcerated individuals.  

Our founding principles are achieved through innovative and forward thinking approaches to solutions in the medical, behavioral health, and reentry-social services that deliver effective, efficient, and meaningful results.  

The entities within the Correctional Health practices were founded by subject matter experts in the field of medical, behavioral health, reentry, community based services, and jail management.  

Collectively its the position of Correctional Health Management that "Public Health = Public Safety".  This is demonstrated through creating healthier individuals results in healthier communities, which reduces recidivism and therefore increases public safety.

"Public Health = Public Safety" is a collaborative approach of stakeholders of community relations.  Stakeholders include community members, law enforcement  agencies, corrections departments, social services, county jail agencies, community based organizations, and more.  Correctional Health Management is a critical facilitator in delivering healthcare services and collaborating with all involved.
