Brian Harmon

Brian Harmon has worked in a variety of roles in the past two decades. In 2019, they began their role as a Marketing Specialist at Correlated Solutions, Inc., a company that offers non-contact shape and deformation measurement solutions. Prior to this, they were the Managing Director of Harmon Media from 2003 to 2015, the Marketing Coordinator at Theirtoric Columbia from 2015 to 2008, the Graduate Assistant at the University of South Carolina from 2008 to 2007, the Managing Director of Shedding Light from 2007 to 2006, the Creative Manager of Artworks Web Design from 2006 to 2002, an ESL/ILTS Instructor at the New Zealand Academy of English from 2002 to 2001, and an ESL Instructor at HESS International Educational Organization from 2001 to 1999. Brian also held the role of Photographer and Lab Manager at Alpin Photo for two summer seasons from 1999 to 2001.

Brian Harmon's education history includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Rhetoric and Composition/Writing Studies from the University of South Carolina, a Certificate of Visual Ethnography in Anthropology from the University of South Carolina, a Master's Degree in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia from the University of South Carolina, and a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature/Letters from Wofford College. Brian completed their Bachelor's Degree in 1998, their Master's Degree and Certificate of Visual Ethnography in 2010, and their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in 2019.
