Chris Carter

Vice President at CorTech International

Prior to joining CorTech, Chris worked at a wide variety of company’s ranging from the world’s largest and most successful hedge fund – Bridgewater Associates, to being the first full time hire of a technology start-up. During Chris’ professional career he has served as the head of recruiting, head of marketing, and general manager of sales.

Before working as a business professional, Chris enjoyed a ten-year career as a professional baseball player. Chris was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2004. After being traded to the Boston Red Sox in 2007, Chris experienced his first major league game in 2008. His most notable accomplishments during his baseball career include being a member of the Boston Red Sox’s 2009 playoff team, serving as an MLB player representative for the NY Mets, and finishing his career playing in Japan with the Seibu Lions.

Chris educational background includes an Undergraduate degree from Stanford University, his Masters from Johns Hopkins University, and an Advanced Undergraduate Diploma (degree with distinction) from Oxford University. In addition to his academic honors, Chris has acquired several other certifications and licenses ranging from technology to finance.

Chris enjoys spending his time with his wife and three kids. He also enjoys coaching, and is currently coaching his oldest son in 7u baseball. In his free time, Chris enjoys going to the movies with his wife, and playing in the backyard with his kids.
