Charles Rutter

Senior Research Engineer/Scientist

Charles Rutter is a skilled Research Scientist and Engineer with a strong background in chemical and biomolecular engineering. They held positions as a Process Engineering Intern at both Michelin North America and Archer Daniels Midland in 2007 and 2008, respectively. Rutter further developed their expertise as a Graduate Research Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology and as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Illinois, focusing on metabolic engineering. They served as a Senior Scientist and Manager of Fermentation at the Golden LEAF Biomanufacturing Training and Education Center from 2016 to 2021 and currently work as a Senior Research Engineer/Scientist at Corteva Agriscience. Rutter earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University and a Ph.D. from Georgia Tech.
