Deepa Acharya

Deepa Acharya, Ph.D., is a seasoned researcher currently serving as the Leader of Discovery Metabolomics at Corteva Agriscience since July 2020, following roles as a Research Investigator in Natural Product Discovery and a Bioanalytical Scientist. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral position at the Wisconsin Institute for Discovery from August 2019 to July 2020, where Deepa contributed to the Tiny Earth project, focusing on antibiotic discovery. Deepa's expertise as a visiting research scholar at the University of California San Diego involved LCMS metabolomics within the Tiny Earth project. Additional consultancy experience with WiSolve and roles in technology transfer and graduate research at the University of Wisconsin-Madison complement a strong academic background, including a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor's degree from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
