He Sun

Jason Sun is a Senior Data Scientist I at Corteva Agriscience, where since November 2022, the focus has been on applying machine learning and Bayesian optimization techniques to high-dimensional human-in-the-loop optimization problems in formulation development. Prior to this role, Jason contributed as a Research Assistant and PhD Candidate at Washington University in St. Louis from August 2016 to August 2022, specializing in the development and validation of advanced computational methods for calculating material properties and conducting independent research on feature engineering for solid materials. Additionally, Jason served as a Teaching Assistant, delivering over 50 lectures and supporting student learning in inorganic and general chemistry. Jason holds a PhD in Computational Chemistry from Washington University in St. Louis and a BS in Physical Chemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China.
