Todd Jones is an accomplished research director with extensive expertise in crop transformation and genome editing. Currently serving as the Research Director for Ag Equity Initiatives at Corteva Agriscience since December 2010, Todd leads a team focused on developing and implementing advanced biotechnological solutions. Prior to this role, Todd worked at BASF Plant Science as a Tech Center Leader, managing teams dedicated to corn and soybean transformation technologies. Todd's leadership experience includes serving as Past-President of the Society for In Vitro Biology and holding the position of Director of Forest Biotechnology at Weyerhaeuser Company. Todd began a career in research as a Biologist at DuPont, specializing in maize transformation. Educational credentials include a B.S. and Ph.D. in Plant Cell and Developmental Biology from the University of California, Davis, complemented by management training from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
