Carina Cruz

Carina Cruz is a Senior Data Scientist at Cortex since July 2020, specializing in advanced Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing solutions for Public Relations. Prior experience includes the role of Data Scientist at Cortex, focusing on Machine Learning and NLP models for PR and Sales Intelligence, and a position at Intelie, where Carina engaged in R&D for the Oil and Gas sector. Earlier work at LNCC involved research in Virtual Reality related to Motor Rehabilitation and Natural Navigation in 3D environments. Carina has also contributed to education as a professor at Pronatec and as an instructor at Microlins Franchising. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Systems and Computing from the Instituto Militar de Engenharia and a Technologist degree in Information and Communication Technology with a focus on Virtual Reality from FAETERJ Petrópolis. Language studies were recently pursued at LAL Language Centres.
