Tim Walsh is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the fields of FPGA and software engineering. Currently serving as the Principal FPGA Engineer at Cortical Labs since August 2025, Tim previously held key positions such as Principal Software Engineer at Liquid Instruments and Principal FPGA Engineer at ATOMOS. Earlier career milestones include roles as Snr Embedded Engineer at Solinnov, Snr Hardware Engineer at Blackmagic Design, and Snr Design Engineer at Nitero, where high-speed wireless design and signal processing constituted significant contributions. Tim's foundational experience began as a Research Engineer at NICTA and as an Engineer at AOFR Pty Ltd.
