Adam Freres is the current Chief Engineer at Corumat. Adam has held this position since November of 2017. Prior to this, they were the Plant Manager at SMS Fabrications Inc. from April 2010 to November 2017. Before that, they were the Maintenance Engineer at TAMCO Steel from January 2008 to April 2010. Adam Freres began their career as a Maintenance Supervisor at the Twin Cities Assembly Plant from January 2004 to July 2005. Adam then became the Melt Shop Maintenance Supervisor at Gerdau Ameristeel St. Paul Mill from July 2005 to January 2008.

Adam Freres completed their undergraduate studies in mechanical engineering at Kettering University. Adam then went on to complete a masters degree in mechanical engineering at the Technische Hochschule Ulm. Finally, they completed their education at Orono High School.

Adam Freres reports to Mike Waggoner, CEO. They are on a team with and Greg Tudryn - CSO.
