Mike Waggoner

Mike Waggoner is the current CEO at Corumat. Mike was previously a Design Engineer at Kenworth, where they designed exhaust diffusers using CFD, designed truck parts for stress/strain and fatigue life, and managed contractors doing CAD work and drawings. Mike is also a technology expert on power steering systems. Prior to Kenworth, Mike was a Teaching and Research Assistant at the University of Washington. There, they taught Manufacturing ME 355, and ME 495 Senior Design. Their duties included supervision of machine shops, grading of student project, and lectures on composite and plastic properties and manufacturing methods. Mike was also the Teaching Assistant of the year award. Additionally, they supervised undergraduates in the construction of a race car, tirelessly worked in and supervised the machine shop in order to keep ambitious timelines. Finally, they were a Mechanical Design Engineer at Stratos.

Mike Waggoner has a MS in Medical Device Engineering and a MSME from the University of Washington. Mike also has a BSc in Industrial Technology from Western Washington University.
