Corus builds real-time monitoring technology for the HVAC service industry. Our first product, the Vigil, monitors 27 parameters across any vapor-compression air conditioning or heat pump system — continuously, not just when someone calls.

Most HVAC customers don't have a service plan. For the majority of systems in the field, there is no scheduled maintenance visit — only a service call when something stops working. Even for customers on a plan, that's two visits a year. Either way, the window for catching problems early is narrow at best, and for most systems it doesn't exist at all.

That means a slow refrigerant leak in March becomes a compressor failure in July. A failing capacitor in spring becomes an emergency call on the hottest day of the year. The contractor who installed that system three years ago is now competing for a customer they're about to lose — not because they did anything wrong, but because they couldn't see what was coming.

The Vigil changes that. Contractors who deploy it catch developing failures before peak season, fill shoulder-season weeks with proactive scheduled work, and give their customers a reason to stay — because they're the company that calls before the breakdown, not after.

Each monitored unit functions like a technician already on site. Fault detection maps directly to part numbers, so the truck that rolls actually has what it needs.

Corus is based in Wichita, Kansas. Our supply chain is entirely U.S.-based.

We're currently forming our first pilot cohort — a small group of top-rated HVAC contractors deploying the Vigil ahead of our Q4 2026 full launch.
