Cody Byrd

Cody Byrd has a diverse work experience in the oil and gas industry. Cody began their career in 2011 as a LWD Field Engineer III at Schlumberger, where they were responsible for survey management, logging data management, and data correction. In 2013, they joined Berger Geosciences, LLC. as a Geologist III, where they performed 2D and 3D seismic interpretation with well data integration, prepared and submitted shallow hazards assessment reports, and assisted with the development of well design and mud weights plans. In 2017, they joined Revere Resources as an Acquisition Analyst, and also began working at Corva as a Drilling Operations Specialist. In this role, they monitored and ensured data accuracy of 20+ rigs simultaneously, identified data quality issues, reviewed data and trends, and tracked and managed key performance indicators. Cody was then promoted to Drilling Operations Manager, where they oversaw a team of over 50 employees and identified and developed top-tier talent. Finally, they were promoted to Director of Operations, where they were responsible for real-time drilling and completions operational delivery and customer support, developing and documenting resourcing roadmaps, budgets, and schedules, and tracking and presenting all activity forecasting.

Cody Byrd attended Louisiana State University from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Geology. Cody then attended Texas A&M University from 2017 to 2018, where they earned a Master of Science in Geosciences.
