David Ward has worked in the oil and gas industry since 2006. In 2006, they began working for Halliburton as a Measurement/Logging While Drilling Service Coordinator, where they were responsible for overseeing daily rig operations and ensuring consistent high quality customer service. David also forecasted tools and revenue for upcoming projects and minimized cost of poor quality by driving operational efficiency, resolving operational issues, and negotiating reductions in non-productive time with customer. In 2018, David Ward began working for Corva, where they held the roles of Technical Support Specialist, Customer Success Manager, Senior Drilling Data Analyst, Training Specialist, and Drilling Optimization Analyst.

David Ward obtained their High School diploma from Klein Forest High School between 1994 and 1998. David then went on to receive a BS in Computer Engineering Technology from Prairie View A&M University between 1998 and 2003. David then earned an MS in Engineering (Computer and Communications) from San Francisco State University between 2003 and 2005. Additionally, they obtained a Commercial Drivers License - Class B w/ Passenger Endorsement from the State of Texas in October 2012.
