Javad Rafiee

Javad Rafiee is a highly experienced professional in the field of petroleum engineering and data science, currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist and Research Engineer at Corva since August 2024. Prior to this role, Javad worked at Tachyus for five years, where responsibilities included the development and deployment of applications on Microsoft Azure and creating a framework to enhance collaboration between research and engineering teams. Javad’s expertise also includes designing history-matching and optimization tools during a tenure as a Reservoir Engineer at Paradigm, and contributing to the development of a reservoir simulator while at The University of Tulsa. Educational credentials include a PhD in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Tulsa, an MS from Sharif University of Technology, and a BS from Petroleum University of Technology.
