James Rainwater

James Rainwater is an expert instructor at Corvee and has over 20 years of experience in the accounting and finance industry. James has worked as an adjunct professor at the University of Maryland University College, a Sr. Accountant at Reznick Group, and a Tax Director at EvolveCFO. James has also served as the Director of Finance & IT at Unitec Electronics. During their time at Unitec, they developed and implemented a strategic growth plan, improved the month-end close and reporting process, and tied budgets and forecasts to the strategic growth plan. James has also been instrumental in helping businesses comply with tax regulations.

Rainwater has an MBA in Finance & Leveraged Information Systems from the University of Baltimore, as well as a B.Sc. in Accounting from the University of Maryland Global Campus. James is also certified by the AICPA as a Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP) and by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants as a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).
