Matthew Johnson

Matthew Johnson is an accomplished educator and author with extensive experience in teaching English and Language Arts. Currently, Matthew serves as a Book Author at Corwin Press and maintains a position as an English Teacher at Ann Arbor Public Schools. Matthew has also authored works for Rowman & Littlefield Publishing Group, including the notable title "Finding Success the First Year: A Survivor's Guide for New Teachers." Previous teaching roles include positions at Plymouth-Canton Community Schools, Lake Oswego School District, Rolling Hills Preparatory School, and Polytechnic School. Matthew holds a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Lewis & Clark College and a BA in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from the University of Michigan.
