Yana I.

Yana I. is a seasoned educational professional with extensive experience in leadership and teaching roles. Currently serving as a Professional Learning Leader at Corwin Press since July 2019 and a Faculty Advisor at Nipissing University since September 2019, Yana brings a wealth of knowledge from a distinguished career at the York Region District School Board, where roles included Principal, Vice Principal, Curriculum and Instruction Consultant, and Teacher from September 1989 to August 2019. Yana's early career as a Teacher at Fort Gary School Division from September 1987 to August 1989 laid a strong foundation in education. Yana holds both a Bachelor of Music and a Bachelor of Education in Music and Education from the University of Manitoba, obtained from 1982 to 1987.
