Derya Demir is an accomplished Global R&D Manager at COS since May 2012, where responsibilities include leading sustainable material initiatives and developing a world-class R&D team through collaboration with over 120 stakeholders. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Researcher & Developer at ARKET, focusing on womenswear, menswear, and kidswear, and as a Product Developer concentrating on growing the Asia business share. Derya's career also encompasses positions as a Senior Merchandiser at George at Asda and a Buyer at LC Waikiki, along with significant experience as a Senior Buyer at Colin's, overseeing a team and managing all aspects from concept to customer. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Marketing & Branding from Koç University and a Bachelor's degree from the Middle East Technical University.
