Amanda Mcvey

Chief Financial Officer & VP of Administration & Finance at COSI

Ms. McVey is Vice President of Administration & Finance and Chief Financial Officer for COSI. In this role, she is responsible for supporting COSI’s mission by ensuring the financial forecasting, planning, and analytical support needed to establish and maintain the financial health of the institution. She also identifies and mitigates, as much as possible, financial risk to the institution

Prior to her current position, Ms. McVey served as COSI’s Senior Director of Finance/Controller for 10 years, keeping constant watch of the financial acumen of the organization. She maintained ground-up budgeting and is experienced in managing banking relationships across a variety of disciplines as well as the daily financial and attendance structure required from her team. Ms. McVey has over ten years’ experience in federal grants work and has taught Finance, Forecasting and Budgeting 101

In her 20+ years at COSI, Ms. McVey has served in multiple roles within the financial area. Ms. McVey holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication and an Associate’s degree in Business Management from Ohio University. She serves as a trustee on the Franklinton Board of Trade, the Scioto Peninsula New Community Board, the Board of Directors of Edheads, volunteered with the Pickaway County Humane Society, the Logan Elm Parent Board and the Logan Elm Athletic Board of Directors
