Brian DeBoer

Vice President, Engineering at Cosm

Brian DeBoer has a long and varied work experience in the technology field. Brian began their career in 1998 as a Web Developer for Neighborhood Access Corporation. Brian then moved on to Fox Interactive as a Web Developer in 2000. In 2001, they became a Web Developer for 101 Communications and then a Web Developer for Atari in 2002. In 2004, they joined Disney ABC Television Group as a Director of Technology, where they oversaw the architecture, planning, and development of live and on-demand video over the web as well as websites for ABC, ABC Family, Disney Channel, Disney XD, Disney Jr, and the Emmy award winning Oscar.com experience. In 2015, they were promoted to Senior Director of Technology at Fox Broadcasting Company. In 2014, they co-founded Herowatcher, where they lead key decisions, ideation, and development of the product, user interface, and architecture. In 2016, they joined Fox Networks Group as Vice President of Technology for the Digital Consumer Group. Here, they were responsible for applications of a variety of networks including Fox Broadcasting, FX, Fox Sports, Fox News, and National Geographic. In 2020, they joined Mammoth Media as Chief Technology Officer and Cosm as Vice President of Engineering.

Brian DeBoer obtained a Bachelor's degree in Music from UC Irvine between 1990 and 1994. Brian then went on to earn a Master's degree in Music Performance from the Eastman School of Music between 1994 and 1996.
