Marcus Valverde

Marcus Valverde is a Software Engineer with experience at three different companies. Marcus started their career in 2021 at Cosm as a Software Engineer. In 2020, they joined Codesmith as a Software Engineer and reactFLO as a Software Engineer, where they utilized the D3 library as a data visualization kernel, implemented React to take advantage of React fiber's optimized virtual DOM and reconciliation algorithm, incorporated Typescript on top of React, used Jest to create test suites, devised a recursive algorithm, and created CSS modules with SASS. Additionally, they worked as an Open Source Developer at Open Source, where they used Node.js/Express to create middleware functions, mapped out distinct SQL relationships between tables, and configured Webpack to transpile JSX/Es6 via Babel loaders, presets, and webpack-dev-Server.
