In 2016, they were part of the search and recovery team for 1667 Ltd, and in 2014, they became a future astronaut for Virgin Galactic, with plans to launch into space in the next two years.
Allan Gray obtained a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Computing from The University of Bolton, which they attended from 1991 to 1996. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained various certifications and completed training programs. These include certifications in Advanced Google Analytics from Google (obtained in June 2020), SPSS Statistics Essential Training from LinkedIn (obtained in June 2020), Expedition To The South Pole With Apollo Astronaut Dr. Buzz Aldrin from White Desert (obtained in November 2016), edX Verified Certificate for Super-Earths and Life by HarvardX (obtained in December 2015), and New Scientist Live: Instant Expert Frontiers of Astronomy from Alan Stern: Principal Investigator New Horizons / Sumit Paul-Choudhury: Editor New Scientist (obtained in November 2015). Allan also completed Suborbital Space Flight Training from the National Aerospace Training and Research (NASTAR) Center in March 2015. Allan is currently enrolled in the Venture Deals Fall 2020 program by Techstars & Kauffman Fellows, although the date of completion is not specified.
