Cosmo Foundation a Philanthropic CSR wing of Cosmo Films Limited was set up in 2008 with a vision to inspire and enrich the humane, sustainable, inclusive community and ecosystem. 
CF programs are implemented in neighbouring villages of Cosmo Films manufacturing units in Waluj, Aurangabad District of Maharashtra, Karjan block, Vadodara district of Gujarat and New Delhi -where Cosmo Films Corporate office is located. 
We started our journey by collaborating with government schools located near Cosmo Films manufacturing units to empower rural students with supplementary education. Our educational programs are computer operation and digital literacy, English fluency development skills, Foundational literacy and Life skills on the hybrid mode. It aims to promote higher education, improve the employability and quality of life for rural children and youth. 
Under the Cosmo Tree Plantation drive, 40,000 Fruit Trees have been planted and nurtured in partnership with local farmers and Miyawaki urban forestry with 15,000 saplings is created.  Development and maintenance of public gardens at Karjan flyover and Aurangabad airport. Under Sanitation drive, installed waste bins and constructed school sanitation blocks with handwash facilities at govt schools, behavioral change programs are implemented.  

We also support the community in the occurrence of unforeseen & unfortunate incidents by working in the field and providing immediate relief to the people in need. For instance, when the COVID-19 pandemic imposed extended periods of lockdown, we supported the adversely affected sections with the large-scale distribution of food and health & hygiene kits. 
The organization is a recipient of five prestigious educational awards viz. Africa CSR Leadership Award, Asia Pacific Enterprise Leadership Award, National Award for Excellence in CSR & Sustainability and Gold Award in CSR Covid Relief Projects 2021, CSR Excellence Award by the Delhiites Lifestyle Award 2022.
