Lawrence Kaara

Lawrence Kaara has over 10 years of work experience in the Information Technology field. In 2011, they began working as an Information Technology Manager at Presbyterian Foundation. In 2013, they moved to Optim Technologies Solutions as an IT Security and Support Technician, where they were responsible for maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting and computer repairs, documenting, maintaining, upgrading or replacing hardware and software systems, supporting and maintaining user account information including rights, security and systems groups, and supporting, monitoring, testing, and troubleshooting hardware and software problems. In 2018, they joined uTest as a Penetration Tester. In 2019, they were hired as an IT Security Support Specialist at Naro Moru River LTD. In 2022, they began working as an Information Security Engineer at Cosmo Tech and as a Bug Hunter at HackerOne.

Lawrence Kaara began their educational journey in 2002 when they enrolled in Egerton University, where they completed a Bachelor of Science in 2007. In 2021, they furthered their studies by enrolling in EPITA: Ecole d'Ingénieurs en Informatique, where they are currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science: Cyber Security.
